On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the program "Soldier's Heart" in collaboration with the Nason brand organized a meeting, introducing the creative copyright of veteran, record holder, Dr. Le Duy Hao, and at the same time opening the Nason Ceramic Heritage Cultural Space in Hanoi .
Born in 1959 in Dao Xa commune (now Phu Tho province), where Uncle Ho visited and launched the "Tet tree planting" in 1964, Dr. Le Duy Hao's childhood was associated with pride in his homeland rich in tradition. Only 5 years old on that historic day, the memories he kept were the emotions told by his parents and relatives.

Growing up in that spirit, the young man soon chose the military path, enlisting at the age of 18, directly fighting at the Vi Xuyen front (old Ha Giang ) in the 543rd Engineering Brigade, Military Region 2. After more than a decade in the army, Senior Lieutenant Le Duy Hao demobilized, turning to the economic path to take care of his family.
Having gone through the ups and downs of life, at the age of 50, with the soul of an artist, he has created many musical pieces such as: “Singing forever with Song Lo”, “They lived and loved like that”, “Overcoming fate”… Along with that, another idea began to blossom: creating a line of ceramics imbued with spiritual and cultural spirit.
In 2010, Le Duy Hao started his ceramic journey from scratch. He traveled to famous craft villages, learned techniques, and persuaded the most talented artisans to come to Dao Xa to study together. Not only observing, he directly created models, mixed glazes, built kilns, and fired them. His notebooks were filled with numbers, proportions, and notes to adjust every small detail.

For many years, the local people have been familiar with the image of him quietly going up the hill, down the stream, setting up research camps. Later, with the support of the government, he was granted 29.6 hectares of land to build a factory to mine and refine Kaolin - Feldspars - Mica. That journey cost him billions of dong, many times making his relatives worried. But he was still determined to find his own path.
Finally, he became the first person in Vietnam to put the words “Duyen” and “Giac” into gold-painted ceramic products, fired from quartz crystals at a temperature of 1,300 - 1,989°C. Fire and minerals combine to create magical colors, each product has different energy and sensitivity. He named that ceramic line “Nason Spiritual Ceramics”.
What is special is that all raw materials are selectively mined from raw ore, then processed through a strict process. When tested by the Vietnam Institute of Geological Sciences, the product showed a content of over 82.48% silica - a rare quartz essence.
In 2018, Nason was recognized by the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings) and the World Records Union (WorldKings) as the ceramic line with the highest quartz ratio in Vietnam and the world. A year later, Mr. Le Duy Hao was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the World Records University (WRU) for his contributions.
Notably, Nason products continue to be improved, applying 24k nano gold coating technology to help increase value, reduce costs, and at the same time open up a new direction for high-end Vietnamese ceramics.
This historic autumn, he received more good news when the Vietnam Digital Copyright Certification and Appraisal Center issued a Certificate of registration for the publication of the process of drawing and coating nano gold on Nason spiritual ceramics. At the same time, the Nason Spiritual Ceramic Heritage Cultural Space was opened at 132 Lac Nghiep Street, Bach Mai Ward, Hanoi. This is a place to display and spread the quintessence of a unique ceramic line.
From a soldier at the Vi Xuyen border to a world record holder in the field of ceramics, Le Duy Hao's path is a testament to his will to constantly improve. He dared to go against skepticism, sweat and money to create an international brand.
Today’s Nason Heritage Cultural Space not only introduces a product, but also tells the story of a man who dares to turn passion into value, connecting traditional quintessence with modern creativity. And above all, it is a soldier’s gratitude to his homeland, to his country, during the historic autumn days.
