Strange method... sterilizing dogs in the world's first short term

According to information from researchers at the University of Chile, the vaccine called Egalitte will inhibit the reproductive behavior of male and female dogs by stimulating antibodies and blocking the production of sex hormones for a year.

The product has attracted the attention of many dog ​​owners because of its ability to change the reproductive desire of pets, replacing the previous irreversible sterilization methods. Moreover, the vaccine also helps to relieve the anxiety of people who do not want to operate on their pets due to concerns about risks and side effects.

The team said they began developing the vaccine in 2009. It will be distributed in Chile this month for $50 per shot. The Egalitte vaccine has been patented in 40 countries, including the United States, Argentina, Brazil, and the European Union.
