On the evening of August 12, Thai Son Bac Club successfully defended its championship title after defeating Thai Son Nam TP.HCM 3-0 in the final match of the 2025 HDBank National Futsal Cup held at Lanh Binh Thang Stadium (HCMC).

The competition between the two biggest forces of Vietnamese futsal took place with great drama. If Thai Son Bac Club was determined to maintain its "throne", Thai Son Nam Club in Ho Chi Minh City was determined to "revenge the debt" of losing 1-10 in the final match last season.

In the 2nd minute, foreign player Mota skillfully dribbled the ball, eliminating two opposing players before passing to Tu Minh Quang to shoot from outside the 6m box to open the score.

Conceding an early goal, Thai Son Nam TP.HCM Club launched a strong attack. However, their shots were either inaccurate or were brilliantly blocked by goalkeeper Pham Van Tu.

The turning point of the match came in the 33rd minute when Nhan Gia Hung (Thai Son Nam TP.HCM) received a direct red card for a dangerous foul.

Playing with one more player, Thai Son Bac Club accelerated and immediately scored a goal to raise the score to 2-0 in the 34th minute thanks to Van Tuan.

With nothing left to lose, Thai Son Nam FC in Ho Chi Minh City used a power-play tactic (no goalkeeper) to find an equalizer. But this tactic was ineffective, even allowing goalkeeper Pham Van Tu to score into an empty net, sealing a 3-0 victory for Thai Son Bac FC in the 35th minute.

In addition to the championship cup and 200 million VND in prize money, Thai Son Bac Club also won 2/3 of the noble individual awards: "Excellent Goalkeeper" (Pham Van Tu) and "Excellent Player" (Nguyen Da Hai).

The title "Top scorer" belongs to Nguyen Lam Gia Tho (Saigon Titans) with 7 goals.

Previously in the third-place match, Sahako FC beat Hanoi 4-2 in a penalty shootout after a 0-0 draw in regulation time. Despite losing, Hanoi FC also won the style award.
