Lam Dong increases 26 officers to support Military Commands of communes and wards

On the afternoon of September 9, the Duc Trong Region 1 Defense Command held a ceremony to send off additional personnel to support the Military Commands of communes and wards in the unit's area to perform their duties.

Duc Trong Region 1 Defense Command has increased 26 officers to support the Military Commands of communes and wards.

The Duc Trong Region 1 Defense Command was established on July 1, 2025 and carries out tasks in 26 communes and wards. Implementing the direction of the Provincial Military Command, the Duc Trong Region 1 Defense Command has sent 26 officers to the base to support the implementation of tasks of the Military Commands of communes and wards.

According to the assessment of the Provincial Military Command, after 2 months of implementing the Politburo 's policy on organizing a 2-level local government model; the Military Commands of communes, wards and special zones have basically started operating in a disciplined manner. However, the staff of the Military Command at the commune level have not yet been fully qualified with the prescribed positions, and their professional qualifications and experience are still limited.

The increase in staff aims to guide the Military Commands of communes and wards to organize and implement national defense and local tasks at the grassroots level to achieve high efficiency, contributing to building a strong and comprehensive Military Command of communes and wards.

The leader of the Duc Trong Region 1 Defense Command requested that the reinforced staff need to closely coordinate with the Military Commands of communes and wards to thoroughly study and grasp the contents, plans and programs of military and defense work that need to be deployed and implemented during the year. The reinforced staff need to support the Military Commands at the commune level to develop a plan to advise the Party Committee and the government on measures to effectively implement military and defense work in the locality.
