Lam Dong organizes Golden Tourism Week in all localities

On March 23, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee announced that it had agreed in principle to let the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organize Lam Dong Golden Tourism Week activities in 2023 as proposed by the Department.

Previously, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong had submitted a document to the Provincial People's Committee requesting permission to organize the Golden Tourism Week, aiming to promote, introduce, and stimulate tourism, attracting domestic and international tourists to Lam Dong in 2023, contributing to the implementation of the province's socio -economic development goals.

Lam Dong Golden Tourism Week will take place in all districts and cities in the province.

Lam Dong Golden Tourism Week 2023 has the theme: "Lam Dong - Majestic Plateau", expected to be held from April 27 to May 3 in all districts and cities.

In particular, the program organized in Da Lat city and districts: Lac Duong, Lam Ha, Duc Trong, Don Duong is "Experiential tourism, culture and cuisine". Specific programs such as international music festival; exhibition, introduction of culture of Lam Dong province's ethnic groups; culinary space "Da Lat delicacies"; folk art performance and traditional costume show "Beauty of Southern Central Highlands cultural heritage"; Central Highlands gong festival "Call of the great forest"; saddleless horse racing competition in Lac Duong district; reenactment of the wedding ceremony of the K'Ho people; reenactment of the ripe rice festival; campfire night of the P'Ro ethnic village...

In Bao Loc city and districts: Bao Lam, Di Linh, Dam Rong is "Community tourism" with the mountain bike race "Bao Loc Championship 2023"; folk dance festival of ethnic groups in Lam Dong province; experience the tourism program "Daana Hot Spring".

At the Golden Tourism Week, visitors will be able to admire the unique cultural features of local ethnic minorities.

In the districts of Da Huoai, Da Teh, Cat Tien is "Discovering the land of Southern Lam Dong" with the Lam Dong open paragliding tournament in 2023; coordinating the organization of the 35th national cycling race for the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup; the Lam Dong open cycling race to the source 2023; the Lam Dong province pole pushing and tug of war tournament in 2023; the "Da Huoai Challenge 2023" terrain sports tournament.

The Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism was also assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to coordinate with relevant units to develop plans and organize Golden Tourism Week activities to ensure safety, savings, efficiency, and maximize the participation of the community, businesses, people and tourists.
