This is the third time this year the school has organized this activity. The last two sessions have received 590 units of blood, contributing to meeting the blood needs in emergency and treatment. This blood donation session aims to receive about 200 units of blood, adding to the blood bank reserve to save lives.

Many students and volunteers in the province came to participate in the voluntary blood donation program.

On the 42nd time donating blood, contributing to the meaningful life-saving activity, Ms. Ho Quy Nhi, Head of the Pink Smile Club, currently working at the Mass and Social Work Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, shared: "Participating in voluntary blood donation is also one of the things that I feel proud of, I also want to spread this positive thing to young people and students, hoping that you will understand and join in, contributing more good things to life".

Having donated blood more than 10 times, Ms. Pham Ngoc Cam, an employee of the University of Education branch in Ca Mau, excitedly said: “When putting aside the hustle and bustle of life, everyone shares the same heart to donate blood to save people, it is also a show of unity, solidarity, and volunteerism. I feel that this is a humane activity and I should give it while I still can. In the future, I will continue to try to donate regularly and periodically, providing blood for cases that need blood in emergency treatment.”

Ms. Pham Ngoc Cam, an employee of the University of Economics and Business in Ca Mau, expressed her excitement at participating in this meaningful activity.

Currently, Binh Duong University, Ca Mau branch, has maintained the activities of the Voluntary Blood Donation Club with more than 80 core members, ready to participate in organizing blood donation programs. Mr. Do Hoang Tam, Head of the Blood Donation Club of the Branch, shared: "This is a simple but extremely meaningful job; the Club and I myself wish to spread the spirit of donating blood to save lives so that everyone can participate."

According to the report of the Ca Mau Provincial Red Cross, since the beginning of the year, the whole province has mobilized more than 12,000 people to donate blood, receiving 9,580 units of blood. This October, in addition to the program at Binh Duong University - Ca Mau Branch, the province will continue to organize two voluntary blood donation campaigns: at Ca Mau Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital (October 23) and Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (October 28).

The voluntary blood donation program not only contributes to supplementing the blood supply to save lives but is also an opportunity to spread the spirit of humanity, arousing the sense of sharing in each person, especially the young generation - the hearts that are learning to live for the community.
