Lang Son Provincial People's Council has just issued Resolution No. 14/2025/NQ-HDND, regulating the expenditure levels and contents for organizing competitions in the fields of culture, sports and tourism in the province.
According to the resolution, the highest prize at provincial competitions is 25 million VND, applied to first prize in fields such as music composition, sculpture, and performing arts. Other prizes range from 20 million VND to 2 million VND, depending on the type and ranking.
Specifically, fine arts competitions such as painting and design have a first prize of 20 million VND; photography and short video creation competitions also have a maximum reward of 20 million VND. For mass art competitions, the highest collective prize is 12 million VND, and the individual prize is 5 million VND. In the field of traditional sports, raft racing has the highest reward of 8 million VND.
Details of prize levels for provincial cultural and sports competitions:
For commune-level competitions, the maximum expenditure level shall not exceed 60% of the provincial-level expenditure level, depending on the actual conditions of each locality.
In addition to the awards, the resolution also details the compensation levels for the organizing committee, art council, judges, secretaries, etc. at provincial competitions. The highest level is 500,000 VND/person/session, the lowest is 150,000 VND/person/session.
The funding for organizing competitions is taken from the state budget according to decentralization or from socialized sources and legal sponsorship. In case of additional fundraising costs, the organizing unit can spend more than the prescribed amount.
The Provincial People's Committee is assigned to implement the resolution and report the implementation results to the Provincial People's Council. The agencies of the Provincial People's Council are responsible for supervising the implementation.
