On the morning of May 19, 2025, at Cao Loc High School - Block 3, Ky Lua Ward, Lang Son Province, the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the "Reading Culture Ambassador" Contest of Lang Son Province in 2025 was solemnly held, marking the strong spread of the reading movement among students of Lang Son Province.

Attending the program on behalf of the departments and branches were the following comrades: Comrade Vi Quang Dung - Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Society - Provincial People's Council; Comrade Nguyen Thi Hoa - Vice Chairman of Dong Kinh Ward; Comrade Nguyen Lo Thuy - Vice Chairman of Luong Van Tri Ward; Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Lam Nho - Deputy Head of the Department of Political Affairs - Provincial Police; Lieutenant Colonel Ban Tien Lam - Deputy Head of Political Affairs - Provincial Military Command. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, there were comrade Le Hai Yen - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lang Son province, comrade Vu Thanh Son - Deputy Director of Lang Son Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television Station. In addition, there were representatives of the leaders of departments, representatives of the leaders of units under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Representatives of the leaders of primary, secondary, high schools, vocational secondary schools and more than 300 students in Lang Son province.

The 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest was launched by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lang Son province in April 2025 on a province-wide scale. After just over a month of launching and implementing, the contest attracted a large number of students from 380 schools from primary, secondary, high school to college levels to participate with 24,645 preliminary round entries. The Organizing Committee of the District and City Competition has judged and selected 279 best entries to participate in the Provincial Preliminary Round.

Through evaluation, the contestants closely followed the rules of the Organizing Committee, the entries expressed their love for books through sharing about their favorite books, inspiring, leading to a positive lifestyle, social responsibility, aspiration to contribute, building and developing a prosperous and happy country. Many written entries were carefully invested in both content and form, beautifully decorated, creative. With innovations in the rules, the entries were creative in the way they were presented such as: Articles in the form of photo books, book illustrations, drawings; video clips were carefully and methodically invested. Many action plans and experience initiatives were built and implemented in practice, suitable for the age group, with positive spread in the community. The Organizing Committee of the Provincial Contest has selected 37 best entries to award prizes, including: 01 Outstanding Clip prize, 03 First prizes, 03 Second prizes, 09 Third prizes, 21 Encouragement prizes representing the province's Reading Culture Ambassadors in 2025.

The Outstanding Clip Award was given to Duong Hoang Minh, class 6A7, Hoang Van Thu Secondary School, Ky Lua Ward, Lang Son Province; 03 First Prizes were given to Be Huyen Tram, class 5A4, Hoang Dong Primary School, Tam Thanh Ward, Lang Son Province; Hoang Thien Phuc, class 6A, To Hieu Secondary School, Binh Gia Commune, Lang Son Province; Hoang Thi Tra My, class 10E1, Chu Van An Specialized High School, Lang Son Province; 03 Second Prizes were given to Le Ngoc Ha, class 4, Pac Giam school, Quang Trung Primary Boarding School, Thien Thuat Commune, Lang Son Province; Hoang Thi Ha, class 8, Nhac Ky Primary Boarding School and Secondary School, Hoang Van Thu Commune, Lang Son Province; Luong Ngoc Tu, class 10C, Ba Son High School, Ba Son Commune, Lang Son Province.

Comrade Vu Thanh Son - Deputy Director of Lang Son Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television Station awarded the Excellent Clip award to Duong Hoang Minh, a student of class 6A7, Hoang Van Thu Secondary School.

Comrade Le Hai Yen - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lang Son province awarded the first prize to the winning students.

Comrade Vi Quang Dung - Deputy Head of the Social and Cultural Committee - Provincial People's Council and Comrade Vu Thanh Son - Deputy Director of the Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television Station awarded the Third Prize to the winning students.  

Comrade Nguyen Thi Hoa - Vice Chairman of Dong Kinh Ward and Comrade Nguyen Lo Thuy - Vice Chairman of Luong Van Tri Ward awarded Encouragement prizes to the winning students.

In particular, the Organizing Committee of the Contest selected 06 most typical entries representing the intelligence, talent and spirit of learning of Lang Son province students to send to the national final round organized by the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The quality of this year's entries shows that students are truly interested in reading, and that reading culture has had a huge impact on the formation of students' intelligence, awareness, and personality. Kindness, altruism, and caring for others have been formed and nurtured through reading. Some students have quietly become ambassadors of reading culture, bringing books and love of books to disadvantaged situations in the community.

The 2025 Lang Son Provincial Reading Culture Ambassador Contest is not only a playground to inspire the love of books in the young generation, but also a journey to spread the good values ​​of reading culture to the community. Through the contest, students have the opportunity to practice reading habits and skills, form critical thinking, and nurture their souls and personalities. This is a practical step to promote the reading movement among young people, contributing to improving people's knowledge, developing intelligence, fostering creativity, building a healthy lifestyle, and moving towards a sustainable and humane learning society./.
