Provincial leaders attend Buddha's Birthday Festival 2023

On June 2, at Sung An Pagoda, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in the province organized the Buddha's Birthday Ceremony in 2023, Buddhist year 2567. Attending were comrades: Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; and representatives of leaders of departments, branches, districts, cities; Venerables of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province, districts, cities and monks, nuns, Buddhists, and local people.

At the ceremony, Most Venerable Thich Hanh The, Head of the Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, called on all monks, nuns, and Buddhists of all walks of life to make every effort to do good deeds and actively contribute to the country's development. Venerable monks, nuns, and Buddhists at all levels of the Sangha, and Vietnamese Buddhists at home and abroad, continue to be united and join hands in the Bodhisattva vow, to be dignified and serve humanity, and to live a good life and practice the Dharma.

Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council presented flowers to congratulate the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee on the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday in 2023.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee sent his congratulations to all monks, nuns and Buddhists to celebrate the Buddha's birthday in peace and with deep religious sentiment. He highly appreciated the Buddhist activities in the province in recent times, which have made positive contributions to mobilizing monks, Buddhists and people to unite, help each other develop the economy, do well the work of gratitude, humanity, charity, social security, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of socio-economic development, and fostering the great national unity bloc in the province. He hoped that in the coming time, the Executive Committee would continue to guide monks, nuns and Buddhists to actively respond to and participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Fatherland Front at all levels, contributing to building Ninh Thuan homeland more and more prosperous and beautiful.
