Ho Chi Minh City leaders visit Vietnamese Heroic Mother Vo Thi Tuoi

On the morning of August 27, a delegation of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City led by Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City visited and presented gifts to people with revolutionary contributions, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

At An Dong ward, the delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Vo Thi Tuoi. Mother Tuoi is 89 years old this year. Her husband and son are martyrs.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc kindly inquired about Mother's health and life, expressing his deep gratitude for her contributions and sacrifices to the Fatherland. Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc wished Mother Tuoi a happy and healthy life, always being a strong spiritual support for her children and grandchildren, for the Party Committee, government and people of the city.

In Cho Lon ward, the delegation visited Mrs. Pham Thi Chinh (born in 1929), a pre-uprising cadre and Mr. Tran Thang Phuc (born in 1928), veteran revolutionary cadre.

At the places he visited, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc kindly inquired and expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of previous revolutionary generations; at the same time, he expressed his joy that they were healthy and clear-minded, being a valuable spiritual support for their families and localities.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc shared that major holidays in general and the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2 are occasions for Ho Chi Minh City to show gratitude to the previous generation; at the same time, they also motivate the city's young generation to follow their example, strive to study and work, and contribute to the development of Ho Chi Minh City.

On behalf of the city leaders, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc thanked the family and local authorities for always caring for the health and spiritual life of the veteran cadres; at the same time, he hoped that this care would be better and better. He wished Mrs. Pham Thi Chinh and Mr. Tran Thang Phuc good health, and continued to be a shining example for their children and grandchildren to follow.
