Regulations on functions and tasks of the Management Board of Monuments and Landscapes of Da Nang City

Accordingly, the Management Board is a public service unit under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang city, performing the function of assisting the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the city in managing and organizing professional activities on the conservation and promotion of cultural heritage values and scenic spots in Da Nang according to the provisions of law and decentralization of the City People's Committee.

At the same time, directly manage, protect, exploit, propagate and promote the value of national relics, special national relics and other cultural works assigned by the City People's Committee.

The Management Board is responsible for receiving, preserving, collecting, reproducing, recreating, and displaying documents, artifacts, and memorabilia related to the life and revolutionary career of comrade Vo Chi Cong, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and relics managed by the Management Board of Monuments and Landscapes of Da Nang City.

In addition, directly manage, protect and promote the value of national relics: Comrade Vo Chi Cong Memorial Site, Khuong My Tower (Tam Xuan Commune), Chien Dan Tower (Tay Ho Commune), Monument Complex of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Martyrs Cemetery of Da Nang City in the southern region (Quang Phu Ward) and other important national relics and cultural works assigned by the City People's Committee.

The Management Board coordinates with relevant authorities and local authorities to organize the reception, movement and burial of martyrs' remains from other locations to the Da Nang City Martyrs' Cemetery in the southern region; carry out the management, care and construction of martyrs' graves according to current regulations and instructions of state management agencies...
