Lao Cai: Police promptly responded to heavy rain, supported people through flooded areas

On the morning of September 9, heavy rains occurred in Cam Duong Ward, causing flooding on many key roads, seriously affecting people's travel. In response to the unusual weather, Cam Duong Ward Police quickly deployed response plans, organized traffic diversion and supported people at deeply flooded areas.

The most affected areas include: 25 Pom Han, 14 and 26 Bac Cuong, 17 Binh Minh, 7 Xuan Tang... The water level here rose from 30-70 cm, causing difficulties for drivers, especially motorbikes and pedestrians.

Many roads in the area were deeply flooded. Cam Duong Ward Police put up warning ropes and guided people to move safely.

The heavy rain fell right during the morning rush hour, so Cam Duong Ward Police arranged officers and soldiers to be on duty at hot spots to regulate traffic and directly guide safe passage for residents and students.

The Mobile Police Department of Lao Cai Provincial Police mobilized 25 officers and soldiers to handle clogged drainage points, wash mud on the road and overcome the consequences of flooding at Hoa Ban Kindergarten.
