Lao Cai: Students participate in experiencing fire prevention and fighting skills

On the morning of October 4, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area No. 6 (Lao Cai Provincial Police) coordinated with Bao Thang Commune Police and local kindergartens to organize the program "Experience and learn about Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police", to celebrate the 24th anniversary of National Fire Prevention and Fighting Day (October 4, 2001 - October 4, 2025).

At the program, students, teachers and parents were instructed by the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force on practical skills such as: moving and escaping in smoky environments; using portable fire extinguishers to extinguish fires caused by gas leaks; techniques for moving people, spreading fire hoses, and spraying water to target areas...

In particular, students can observe, learn and practice directly with specialized vehicles such as fire trucks, hoses, rescue tools; practice extinguishing simulated fires, escape skills and holding fire hoses.

The activity creates a useful playground, helping students, teachers and parents improve their knowledge and skills in fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue, proactively prevent and respond effectively when fire and explosion incidents occur.

Responding to the peak week of the 24th anniversary of National Fire Prevention and Fighting Day, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 6 conducted 2 mobile propaganda sessions and 2 direct propaganda sessions, attracting a large number of teachers, students and people to participate.
