Southern Fruit Festival in Ho Chi Minh City lasts for 3 summer months

In order to introduce to tourists the unique, rich and diverse varieties of regional fruits in the country, from June 1 to August 31, Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Joint Stock Company, Department of Agriculture , Department of Tourism and Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations organized the Southern Fruit Festival at Suoi Tien tourist area.

This is also an opportunity to honor the achievements of farmers in the agricultural sector, contributing to preserving the unique art of fruit carving and promoting the cultural identity of the Vietnamese people.

Southern Fruit Festival takes place from June 1 to August 31

Throughout the festival is a specialty fruit market that brings together famous specialty fruit brands: Lai Thieu mangosteen, Hoa Loc sand mango, Tien Giang green-skinned grapefruit, Tien Giang Thai jackfruit... In addition, a huge fruit collection with many types of fruits collected from many regions, 20 dishes made from fruits and regional specialties are also present at the culinary booth.

In addition, the fruit sculpture art contest will expand many themes and bring colorful fruit works. In particular, the theme of Ho Chi Minh City green tourism , Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien Metro... promises to be works that attract tourists. The award ceremony of the contest will be held on the occasion of Doan Ngo Festival, the 5th day of the 5th lunar month (ie June 22).

According to the organizers, to kick off the festival on June 1, Suoi Tien will offer free entrance tickets for children under 1.4m tall accompanied by their parents. From June 2 to August 31, Suoi Tien will offer a 50% discount on entrance tickets for excellent students with certificates of merit in the 2022-2023 school year.
