"Little Soldiers of Dien Bien" Festival at 100% of the teams

The festival is a traditional historical activity, summarizing the emulation movement of studying and training in the union, thereby praising and honoring outstanding groups and individuals in studying and training.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Hanoi City Youth Union Council Dao Duc Viet said: The "Dien Bien Young Soldier" Festival is a good model maintained and implemented by Youth Union organizations at all levels every 5 years. The festival aims to create an environment for children to compete in learning, practicing, and promoting the tradition of "Young age, great ambition" of the capital's children.

Through the form of dramatization, students expressed their understanding of the history of the entire nation's resistance war against the French, the great significance of the Dien Bien Phu victory; the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh , General Vo Nguyen Giap and typical heroes in the Dien Bien Phu campaign.

With flexible and diverse organization forms, the Festival ensures widespread propaganda and profound education for children in the capital, organized enthusiastically, attractively and usefully from class, Team to Union, ensuring to attract 100% of team members and students to participate.

At the festival, through the form of dramatization, excellent team members representing students of Phu Thuong Primary School's Union participated in 3 competitions: Greeting "Echoes of Dien Bien"; Knowledge "Following the footsteps of heroes"; Talent "Dien Bien - Golden History".

Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers Nguyen Pham Duy Trang and Chairman of the Hanoi City Young Pioneers Council Dao Duc Viet commended the team members and children.

Immediately after the pilot model, 100% of primary school teams across the city will organize the "Dien Bien Young Soldiers" Festival in a suitable and flexible manner according to the conditions of each locality.

Within the framework of the Festival, the City Youth Union Council commended and rewarded 10 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing model projects and 70 excellent team members who achieved the title "Dien Bien Young Soldier" .

At the same time, on this occasion, the City Youth Union and the City Council of Young Pioneers launched 7 weeks of peak emulation to achieve achievements to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory through thematic activities of the Young Pioneers and Children's Stars associated with the campaign "Every week a beautiful story, a good book, a shining example" with the hope that each Young Pioneer, teenager and child in the Capital will continue to promote the spirit of "Little Soldier of Dien Bien", strive to emulate and carry out well the 5 teachings of Uncle Ho, to be worthy of being a good child, a good student, a good Young Pioneer, a good child of Uncle Ho.
