Liverpool have already broken their transfer record by signing midfielder Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for a total fee of £107 million including add-ons. But they are not done yet, as they are close to completing the purchase of striker Isak for up to £130 million, setting a new transfer record in England.
If this deal is completed, the Anfield team will also set a record total spending of up to 450 million pounds (about 16,013 billion VND) in this summer's transfer window.
This huge amount of money has helped Liverpool bring 10 new players to Anfield (including Isak) in just the past few months. Previously, prominent names that have played include Jeremie Frimpong, Wirtz, Milos Kerkez or Hugo Ekitike, who have won the trust of the team's fans.

The presence of Isak will make Liverpool's attack extremely scary, in which Salah and Cody Gakpo are still important strikers. It is expected that on September 1, Isak will be licensed by Newcastle to go to Liverpool to complete the procedures for his blockbuster transfer.

Isak went on strike for Newcastle during the transfer window to achieve his goal of moving to Liverpool. However, it was not until the last day of the transfer window (ending on September 2, Vietnam time) that the North East English team accepted his departure while his contract was still valid until June 2028, according to transfer experts Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein. In 3 seasons playing for Newcastle, Isak scored a total of 62 goals in 109 matches.
Coming to Liverpool, Isak is expected to sign a 6-year long-term contract, with a significant salary increase, around 300,000 pounds/week.
At Newcastle, the 25-year-old Swedish player only receives around 120,000 pounds/week. To replace Isak's position, Newcastle has now bought striker Nick Woltemade from VfB Stuttgart for a fee of 69 million pounds.
