“Moc Chau – Call of Love Season” promises many exciting activities on September 2nd

This is the second year that Moc Chau district, Son La province has hosted the Cultural Tourism Week activities at the provincial level. Before that, every year, Moc Chau still organized Independence Day activities at the district level.

Many attractive cultural and tourism activities will take place in Moc Chau on September 2nd.

Mr. Le Trong Binh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Moc Chau district (Son La) said that Moc Chau Cultural Tourism Week 2024 is organized to promote, advertise, and introduce to domestic and foreign businesses and tourists about the potential, advantages, and communication to promote "Moc Chau - the world's leading regional natural destination"; build and develop a unique brand of Moc Chau tourism; attract investors with the capacity to develop tourism services, build Moc Chau into a leading tourist area in the Northwest region, an attractive tourist destination for domestic and foreign tourists.

The festival also aims to demonstrate the strength of great solidarity among ethnic groups in Son La province in general and Moc Chau district in particular; strengthen the great solidarity of the entire people and consolidate the belief in the cause of national renewal that the Party, State and people have chosen.

"Mong ethnic cultural space" - performing folk songs, dances, and music by artists and actors from villages and hamlets in communes and towns with many Mong people living there.

Regarding the activities that will take place on this occasion, Mr. Le Trong Binh said: "First is the art program taking place on the night of September 1 with the theme 'Passionate dating night'. Second are activities related to the fair to connect and consume agricultural products in the area. Third are street community activities, which will highlight the culture of the ethnic groups in the area. Fourth is the competition to perform national intangible cultural heritages. Fifth is the special content associated with the history of Independence Day, which is the Mong ethnic cultural space. This is also a unique opportunity for Moc Chau to promote its potential and advantages to attract investors to Moc Chau, to Son La and the Northwest region".
