Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds on the afternoon of October 1st caused many trees in Dong Hoa ward (HCMC) to fall, hitting pedestrians.

Another victim born in 1982 (living in Tan Hoa Quarter) was also taken to the 4th Military Corps Hospital for monitoring and treatment.
