Front page of Hue today Weekend No. 39

Packing Hue's autumn is a gentle metaphor expressed by author Xuan An through the story of a gift associated with Hue's autumn, and the loving packaging of that gift to send to a loved one far away. Xuan An writes gently: This morning, I received a gift from my brother in Kim Long: 'I'm sending you an autumn gift from the garden, the most delicious pomelos'. Naturally, I feel strangely moved! Is there any fruit tree in this land of Hue with unpredictable rain and sun that doesn't carry the heavy worries of the person who grows and cares for it? One might think that growing pomelos is easy and requires little care, but it is a whole process of understanding the soil, understanding the tree and cultivating it to have a good fruit season. In my brother's joy of gardening, there is always a heart for both the fruit trees and the Hue autumn: "Thanh Tra is the fruit that holds the flavor of Hue autumn, you know. Walking under the thanh tra garden, I can smell another special scent of the Hue garden in the autumn of my hometown, light and cool, so the fruit trees not only provide economic benefits but also nourish the soul.

Jade and ivory tell the story of an old hobby is another story that author Nhat Minh connected from the exhibition "Jade - ivory in religious art" at the Nguyen Dynasty Porcelain Museum (114 Mai Thuc Loan, Phu Xuan ward). In the museum's adequate space, more than 100 artifacts from jade to ivory were displayed by the owner in a systematic and scientific manner, taking viewers on a historical journey through the artifacts. All of these exquisitely crafted masterpieces of Vietnam and countries in the East Asian cultural region were painstakingly collected by the museum owner - researcher Tran Dinh Son over the past decades. Researcher Tran Dinh Son also shared: I hope that the exhibition will help visitors to approach precious artifacts and antiques, highlighting the colorful picture of the cultural heritage of the nation and countries. From there, there will be better awareness in protecting and promoting the value of cultural heritage.
