Dong Nai Customs dialogues and removes difficulties for businesses

(DN)- On September 26, the Regional Customs Branch XVIII organized the first Business Meeting Conference in 2025 with the theme "Meeting - sharing - accompanying".

Attending the conference were 120 delegates from Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Europe Business Associations, typical import-export and logistics enterprises in Dong Nai province.

At the conference, Head of the Regional Customs Branch XVIII Le Van Thung said: In 2025, the economic situation in the world, the country as well as in Dong Nai will still face many difficulties, many enterprises still have to make efforts to balance production, find orders and stabilize labor to maintain operations. Joining hands with the customs sector and the provincial government, the Regional Customs Branch XVIII has proactively implemented solutions to remove difficulties and create favorable conditions for enterprises in the province.

With the efforts in administrative reform and facilitation of the customs sector, the import-export turnover from the beginning of the year to date of Dong Nai province has reached 48.3 billion USD, an increase of 13.8% over the same period in 2024; budget revenue of nearly 16.2 trillion VND, reaching over 75% of the estimate.

At the conference, the customs sector had a direct dialogue with businesses about difficulties and problems in the production, business, import and export processes, answered questions and guided businesses on necessary contents.

The conference also spent time promoting new policies in the customs sector; experts from the Institute of Artificial Intelligence introduced technological solutions specifically designed for import-export activities, helping businesses save time, reduce risks and improve competitiveness.
