Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ben Tre province mobilizes to build 2,000 Great Unity houses

Despite facing many difficulties and challenges such as the Covid-19 pandemic, environmental pollution, climate change, etc., in the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ben Tre province still achieved many achievements, notably the movement to build 2,200 Great Unity houses and gratitude houses in the locality.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Tre province, said that with the motto that the welcome works must be truly practical, for the benefit of the people, serving the needs of the people in each residential area. The products and tasks registered for the emulation must have the characteristics of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, implemented by the Front and its member organizations. Closely following the political tasks and practical situation of the locality to deploy and encourage people to participate in campaigns and patriotic emulation movements; emulate to contribute to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels. Emulate to effectively implement the Project on new rural construction for the period 2021-2025; the movement "For the poor - No one is left behind"; practice a civilized lifestyle; Actively promote, mobilize, and support site clearance and resettlement to serve major projects in the area... Coordinate and effectively implement the movements "Office culture", "Good workers, creative workers, improving productivity, quality, and efficiency"...

Along with that, continue to improve the quality and effectiveness of the supervision and social criticism work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, focusing on policies and programs that have a direct impact and influence on the legitimate rights and interests of the people; actively participate in giving opinions on Party and government building; organize dialogue activities between Party committees and governments with cadres, union members, association members and the people.

Accordingly, by 2025, the Fatherland Front system in Ben Tre province has mobilized the construction of 2,200 houses, including 200 gratitude houses and 2,000 Great Solidarity houses. In addition, construction works of "flag-lined" roads to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels on the occasion of major national holidays, important political and social events or Organize "Loving Tet" activities to mobilize gifts for families with difficult policies, poor households, and near-poor households on the occasion of Lunar New Year. 100% of families with difficult policies, poor households, and near-poor households have at least 1 Tet gift,...
