Attending the event were Ms. Nguyen Trang Anh Thu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Provincial Vietnam Student Association, along with representatives of organizations, unions, the People's Committee of the hamlet and many local people.
Delegates, children and a large number of people attended the program.
Mr. Nguyen Chi Trung, Party Cell Secretary, Head of Hamlet 1 informed about the learning and activities of the "For Children" Club.
The “For Children” Club is a special model, formed from a charity class founded by Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thuy nearly 20 years ago. Initially, the class was opened at Le Van Tam Primary School, teaching free literacy to disadvantaged children in Quarters 8, 9, 10 (old Ward 1). In 2007, the class moved to Quarter 10 (now Quarter 1) and maintained a regular enrollment of about 30 students. In 2012, the class was officially renamed the “For Children” Club under the guidance of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, to better suit the local conditions.
Children enthusiastically participated in exchange and cultural activities.
Despite the lack of financial support, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thuy and her volunteers still persevere in maintaining the class, offering free lessons to children from 6 to under 16 years old, most of whom are orphans, street children or those in special circumstances. The children are taught to read, write, do basic math and practice life skills. Thanks to the cooperation of organizations and donors, the "For Children" Club has now expanded in scale, with about 50 children regularly attending.
The program “Loving morning sunshine – Warm Mid-Autumn Festival” brings children a cozy Mid-Autumn Festival, filled with laughter with many exchange activities, fun and gift giving. On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Student Association mobilized Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry to give 50 gifts including cakes and candies to the children.

Speaking at the program, comrade Nguyen Trang Anh Thu acknowledged the heart, perseverance and enthusiasm of the Club's Board of Directors and volunteers; at the same time, she hoped that the local government and Youth Union organizations would continue to accompany and support the class to maintain its effectiveness, becoming a spiritual support for children in difficult circumstances.
Local leaders and Youth Union officials share the joy of Mid-Autumn Festival with children of the "For Children" Club.
The activity not only brings joy to children during the Mid-Autumn Festival, but also spreads the message of love and sharing, contributing to caring for, protecting, and supporting children on their journey to adulthood.
