Fortune Southeast Asia 500 is a ranking to honor businesses that have achieved impressive revenue and maintained sustainable growth over many years. Notably, this year, MWG ranked 64th, up 13 places compared to last year's 77th - an impressive step forward among a series of leading names in the region. The Fortune 500 Southeast Asia ranking is based on the business results of the 2024 fiscal year - a year that marks an important turning point in MWG's recovery and growth journey. Overcoming many challenges from the consumer market, the group recorded outstanding business results with net revenue reaching VND 134,341 billion , completing 107% of the 2024 plan , up 14% compared to 2023. In particular, profit after tax reached VND 3,733 billion , a remarkable growth, 22 times higher than the same period, completing 156% of the year plan .
With this impressive result, MWG is not only leading in scale and operational efficiency in Vietnam, MWG is also one of the pioneering enterprises in practicing sustainable development. In 2024, the group was honored in a series of prestigious rankings such as: Top 10 Best Governance Enterprises in Vietnam, Top 20 Enterprises with the Best Sustainable Development Index in Vietnam - VNSI 20, Top 50 Sustainable Development Enterprises in Vietnam - CSA 50, Top 100 Sustainable Development Enterprises - CSI 100. This is the result of continuous efforts in incorporating sustainable development goals into business models, towards a circular economy as well as joining hands to implement Vietnam's Net Zero 2050 commitment.
