With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Steadfastness - Breakthrough - Development", the 12th Congress of the Party Committee of the Army has completed all the contents of the proposed program. The Congress was a great success, passing important documents and electing the delegation to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The conference focused on implementing the strategic and breakthrough decisions adopted by the congress. Notably, the goal of building a “revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern” People’s Army was achieved one term earlier than the Resolution of the 11th Congress.

Promoting the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; developing an autonomous, self-reliant, self-reliant, dual-purpose, and modern defense industry.

The conference thoroughly grasped the direction of General Secretary To Lam , Secretary of the Central Military Commission, summarizing the results of the past term into 6 highlights and directions and goals for the 2025-2030 term with 6 contents: "2 steadfastness, 2 promotion and 2 prevention".

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Le Cong Thanh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Lai Chau Provincial Border Guard Command, emphasized that the conference is an important political activity, helping cadres and party members of the unit grasp the spirit of the resolution, thereby creatively applying it to border work, meeting the requirements of building the Army in the new period.
