"In the direction of Kupyansk, effective actions of units of the Western Group of Forces, air strikes, artillery fire and heavy flamethrower systems repelled nine attacks by assault groups of the 115th Motorized Assault Brigade and the 95th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the Sinkovka and Terny settlements in the Kharkiv region. The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were more than 50 servicemen, one infantry fighting vehicle and two armored fighting vehicles," the statement added.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, two Gvozdika self-propelled guns and two D-30 guns were also hit in the fighting.
Units of the Central Group of the Russian Armed Forces in the Krasny Liman direction repelled an attack by the Special Forces Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “In the Krasny Liman direction, units of the Central Group of Forces, with artillery support, repelled an attack by the 12th Special Forces Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine southeast of the village of Kuzmino, the self-proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic,” the statement said.
