Our attacks have almost pushed the Ukrainian troops out of Chunishino. Now we are clearing the enemy’s pockets of resistance in the village,” TASS quoted Kimakovsky as saying.

Ukrainian media also confirmed fighting in Chunishino, but paid little attention to the fate of the village; but emphasized the situation in the city. Ukrainian blogger "Muchnoy" reported, saying that the situation in the city is both complex and volatile, and can change rapidly.

Blogger "Muchnoy" said that the Lazurny district is now under the control of the Russian army, while the Shakhtarsky, Solnechny and Yuzhny districts are partly in the gray zone, and partly under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). However, the RFAF is gradually pushing the Ukrainian troops out of the city; while the AFU continues to "speak" of its lack of troops.

The Russian Military Review website reported that multiple battlefield sources confirmed the RFAF attacks from the Peschanoye bridgehead towards Grishino. The RVvoenkor channel confirmed that the RFAF had captured Chunishino and the Lazurny district; at the same time, in the western part of the city, the Russians launched a breakthrough from the village of Peschanoye towards Grishino, forming a wide front and flanking the enemy's defenses in the industrial zone.

All signs point to the Ukrainians in Pokrovsk being on the brink of defeat. Their only chance is to retreat north of the city, back across the railway lines and reorganize their defenses. However, this would mean losing most of Pokrovsk, which Kiev’s leadership is unlikely to accept for political reasons.

According to the Legitimny channel, the “Pokrovsk whirlwind” has swallowed almost all the AFU reserves, deployed to this sector of the front by Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky. The channel notes that the commanders of Ukrainian units are now complaining about the lack of troops.

Meanwhile, the RFAF took advantage of this AFU opportunity to improve their positions in the city of Pokrovsk and at the Dobropolye salient (north of Pokrovsk). Currently in the city, the Russian troops have pushed Ukrainian units out of several high-rise buildings in the southwest, continuing to expand the area of ​​control.

The Legitimny channel added that if the RFAF gains a foothold in high-rise buildings in the Yuzhny and Shakhtyorsky sub-districts, they will be able to deploy dozens of UAV groups there. The operators of these UAVs will “swallow up” the entire AFU logistics force in the entire concentration area within a month. This will ultimately lead to huge losses of Ukrainian units and the loss of the entire concentration area.
