The terraced fields in the highland commune of Yen Thang (Lang Chanh district, Thanh Hoa province) are picturesque, peaceful and poetic in the flooding season.

About 130km from Thanh Hoa city center, Yen Thang commune is located in the west of Lang Chanh district, Thanh Hoa province. This place has a large population of Thai people, mainly doing agriculture all year round.

The entire Yen Thang commune has nearly 45 hectares of terraced fields, mainly in the villages of Peo, Trang and Van. For many years, the terraced fields in this locality have been an interesting tourist destination.
