Similarly, the average purchase price of live pigs in the Central Highlands region reached 55,000 VND/kg. Of which, Ha Tinh and Quang Tri are currently purchasing live pigs at 54,000 VND/kg; in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Hue, Da Nang , Quang Ngai, Gia Lai and Dak Lak, it is stable at 55,000 VND/kg; Khanh Hoa maintains the price at 56,000 VND/kg, while Lam Dong continues to maintain the highest price in the region at 57,000 VND/kg.
On the contrary, the Southern market has a downward trend in the price of live pigs in some localities. Accordingly, in Dong Thap, the price of pigs has dropped to 56,000 VND/kg; in Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, An Giang, Ho Chi Minh City it is at 57,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the price of live pigs in Ca Mau and Can Tho is still at the highest level in the region at 58,000 VND/kg.
