Artist Truong Son is the son-in-law of the late artist Minh To, a famous family of traditional opera - reformed opera of the Southern land.

He and his wife, artist Thanh Loan, have three daughters who are currently very active in the reformed theater scene, namely artists Ngoc Nga, Tu Suong and Le Thanh Thao.

Truong Son is considered one of the mainstay artists of the Minh To Ancient Opera Troupe, alongside his brothers and sisters of the 4th generation of the family such as artists Thanh Tong, Thanh Bach, Bach Le, Xuan Yen, Huu Canh, Thanh Loan, Bach Long, Cong Minh, Thanh Son...

Truong Son has had memorable roles such as Bao Cong, Ly Dao Thanh... Around 2021, when artist Cong Minh performed a program for the Minh To family at Sen Viet Stage with the play Liu Bei Proposes to Giang Ta , the artist couple Truong Son - Thanh Loan moved everyone because despite their age, they sang and performed very enthusiastically.

Dien Trung, son-in-law of artist Truong Son, said that in the past few years due to health problems, he has been absent from the stage. However, when he heard that his youngest daughter Le Thanh Thao was doing the program, he decided to come back to support his daughter.

Truong Son will play the famous role of Ly Dao Thanh in the excerpt "The Poem of the Horse Saddle" , alongside Le Thanh Thao as Queen Thuong Duong.

This information made the audience who loved the traditional opera excited. Because besides the late artist Thanh Tong, artist Truong Son was extremely excellent in this role. This was considered the key performance of the play, Ly Dao Thanh put aside his personal feelings for Queen Thuong Duong to judge fairly and uphold the law of the country.

Artist Dien Trung, in charge of Group 2 of Tran Huu Trang Opera House, shared with Tuoi Tre Online that he does not consider Tam Hoa Nghiep To to be Thanh Thao's live show, but rather calls it a program introducing artist portraits.

This is the first show for Group 2 to continue to do many long-term programs of this type for artists in the theater such as Le Tu, Tu Suong, Vo Minh Lam, Hoang Hai...

The format of the program does not require the participation of artists in the theater. The main character in the program can decide to invite guests who are familiar with them outside, have connections, or have good stories throughout their singing career, as long as they can "paint" a meaningful portrait of that artist.

As in the play "The Heart of the Flower of the Ancestor" by Le Thanh Thao, the main participants were artists from the Minh To family of traditional opera artists for many generations.

In particular, the program will feature the appearance of 5 excellent actresses of the 5th generation of the family: Trinh Trinh, Que Tran, Ngoc Nga, Tu Suong, and Le Thanh Thao.

There will also be the participation of artists Cong Minh, Bach Long, Chi Bao, Xuan Truc, Dien Trung, Truong Giang, Hong Quyen, Tu Quyen, Kim Thu, Thao Tram, Thao Truc... Artist Binh Tinh of Doan Huynh Long, childhood friend of Le Thanh Thao in Dong au Bach Long, will participate in the program about her close friend.

The show Tam Hoa Nghiep To took place on the evening of October 18 at Tran Huu Trang Opera House.
