Fans of traditional opera happily shared a clip of Ngoc Cuong, son of the late artist Chinh Nhan, singing the final scene of the performance commemorating the stage's founder at the Huynh Long Traditional Opera Troupe of producer Binh Tinh.

Recently, actress Bao Bao also posted a short clip of Binh Tinh crying while watching Ngoc Cuong and baby Bella Cat Tien running through the rehearsal before the show.

Binh Tinh was moved because the fourth generation of Huynh Long had appeared.

Before the show, Binh Tinh had a tour in Australia, she entrusted the production of the ancestor memorial program to director Huu Quoc.

Huu Quoc confided that he did not understand what compelled him to want to bring Ngoc Cuong, the son of his close friend, back to the cradle of Huynh Long's classical opera.

So Huu Quoc secretly challenged Ngoc Cuong, secretly assigned his crew to help Ngoc Cuong sing, act, and dance, and kept it a secret from Binh Tinh to create a surprise.

When Binh Tinh returned to the country to run the program before the show, she also did not know about that "conspiracy".

In the final greeting scene, Ngoc Cuong and baby Bella Cat Tien (Binh Tinh's daughter) appeared, making her surprised and burst into tears. The daughter of the late artist Kim Phuong (Binh Tinh's aunt) also couldn't hold back her tears, and all the artists in the troupe were in tears.

The journey of raising grandchildren

Confiding in Tuoi Tre Online, Binh Tinh said that when she saw Ngoc Cuong's picture on the poster, she thought that because this was a special performance, Cuong appeared to say goodbye and thank the audience with his family.

Chinh Nhan is Binh Tinh's older brother. They were first generation disciples of the Bach Long Children's Troupe. Chinh Nhan then continued to be taught by artist Kim Tu Long and became a very good singer and dancer. However, he passed away in 2015.

When Binh Tinh was about 20 years old, she took Ngoc Cuong, who was only 1 month old at that time, home to raise. Now she is 26 years old, graduated from Hoa Sen University but only likes modern dance, has never held a microphone to sing modern music, let alone sing reformed opera.

"I have never held a sword or a spear to practice, so when Ngoc Cuong properly went on stage to sing a little, and even danced, and danced exactly like my brother Chinh Nhan, I was surprised," said Binh Tinh.

In this performance, director Huu Quoc lets Ngoc Cuong interact with the three Chinh Nhan through the screen.

"The footage shown was a scene from the play The Queen's Injustice , which Nhan and I performed together when we were alive.

Looking back at his image, looking at my son Ngoc Cuong standing on stage today interacting with his father, I really can't bear it. The old memories of us brothers keep coming back" - Binh Tinh said with tears in her eyes.

Director Huu Quoc also let little Bella Cat Tien (10 years old this year) perform a scene with Ngoc Cuong, making Binh Tinh feel like she saw the image of her cousins ​​performing on stage when they were little.

It is too early to predict the future of the children, but the fourth generation of the Huynh Long family seems to be promising to appear. That makes the third generation children of the family, the audience who love Huynh Long, moved to tears.

Talking about her beloved child, Binh Tinh's eyes filled with love said Ngoc Cuong was obedient and filial to Tinh's mother.

Currently, Ngoc Cuong is helping his mother with the business. He also participated in several films invested by artist Ngoc Huyen, played small roles at Truong Hung Minh Stage and studied with teacher Huu Chau.

"I'm happy because he's independent and doesn't rely on me. When he goes to castings, he doesn't let people know he's Binh Tinh's son. Even though he keeps failing the castings, he still perseveres, starting with small things to have the opportunity to learn the profession!" - Binh Tinh happily talks about her son.
