Responding to the call of the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province, from the welfare fund, Phuong Hoang International Group Limited Company (Vu Ninh ward) has supported people in the flood-hit area with a total amount of 600 million VND. Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Chairman of the Board of Members of the Company shared: "With little money, much heart, the company wants to provide emergency support to people in times of danger. Because after the flood, there are many hardships and difficulties to stabilize their lives. People in the flood-hit area suffer material and mental damage, have to worry about health issues, food and clothing... so where is the money to repair houses, buy household items. Therefore, the board of directors also propagates and mobilizes everyone in the company to actively support through the Fatherland Front Committee, local organizations where they live with the heart of "mutual love". Each act of sharing not only helps people overcome immediate difficulties, but also spreads solidarity, affirming the social responsibility of the enterprise".
"The Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee determined to support people affected by storms and floods with the motto of being the fastest, most timely, at the highest level possible, close to the actual conditions and needs of the affected people. The contributions and support of collectives and individuals are always valuable resources to help people in disaster-affected areas quickly overcome difficulties, restore production, and soon stabilize their lives" - Comrade Nguyen Thi Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. |
Although many schools in the province were flooded and many students had to temporarily stop going to school, the Bac Ninh Education sector still made efforts to overcome difficulties to maintain teaching and learning. It is truly admirable that teachers in areas not heavily affected by floods saved part of their salaries, brought clothes, books, and school supplies to give to their colleagues. Many students reduced their breakfast money, broke their piggy banks to get money to support their friends in the flood areas. In just a short time, voluntary donation activities have spread widely. The whole sector mobilized more than 2 billion VND to support people in the flood areas. This is an activity with profound humanitarian meaning, both sharing with people affected by floods and educating students about compassion.
In addition to cash donations from agencies, units and individuals, many organizations and volunteer groups in the province have also actively carried out activities to donate necessities and food. The Phoenix Charity Club (Yen Dung Ward) under the Provincial Red Cross Society has mobilized emergency support for isolated people in Bo Ha, Yen The, Xuan Luong and Xuan Cam communes.

Storms and floods pass, but human love remains
These days, Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations in the province have carried out many practical and cost-saving activities to support people affected by natural disasters. With the motto "whoever has something to help, those who have a lot contribute a lot, those who have a little contribute a little", after only a few days of launching the support campaign, the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province has received more than 5.7 billion VND and a lot of food, foodstuffs and goods. From mobilized resources, the Fatherland Front Committee of the province plans to support people in flood-affected areas both inside and outside the province.
