TPO - On the morning of September 14, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi launched a movement for the entire population to participate in general environmental sanitation and overcome the consequences of storm No. 3. Immediately after the launching ceremony, the government, organizations and people of Hanoi took to the streets to clean up and collect garbage on all the streets of the capital.

On the morning of September 14, the launching ceremony of the mass movement to participate in general environmental sanitation and overcome the consequences of storm No. 3, chaired and organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city, took place at Van Xuan Flower Garden, Ba Dinh district.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, Hanoi Secretary Bui Thi Minh Hoai, together with local people and authorities, cleaned up fallen tree branches around Van Xuan flower garden (Quan Thanh ward, Ba Dinh district).

The Secretary of the Hoan Kiem District Youth Union said that the district's youth force took to the streets right after storm No. 3 passed: "Right after storm No. 3 passed, from September 9 until now, every day more than 100 district youths took to the streets with URENCO workers to clean up fallen trees regardless of day or night, rain or shine. Each day is divided into many shifts, each shift has hundreds of volunteers divided into locations in the district to quickly clean up."

The Secretary of the Hoan Kiem District Youth Union also added that there were many complicated cases in the area, however, with the solidarity of the district forces, the help of the Military Command and the Nam Tu Liem District Youth Union, and the forces of the wards, traffic on the main routes was quickly cleared, and it is expected that by September 15, the transportation will be completed, liberating the entire area.

The People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District said that for ancient trees, trees that need to be preserved, rare trees with high economic value, the Green Park Company will coordinate with the Green Tree Company to inspect and evaluate if they can be supported on site and then implement the implementation. In case they cannot be supported, the City will propose to move them to the nursery for care and planting in a suitable location in the City.
