In the 2023-2025 term, the Association's work and the farmers' movement in U Minh commune have had many positive changes. The whole commune has 1,756 members, operating in 21 branches and 83 groups, with an activity rate of over 80%. Every year, over 90% of branches and groups are classified as fair and good.

The movement of farmers competing in production and business excellence has been promoted; each year, more than 200 households register, of which more than 50% have achieved titles at all levels. The Association has helped 24 poor and near-poor households escape poverty, and built 21 "Skillful Mass Mobilization" models that have brought practical results. The Farmers' Support Fund reached 5.175 billion VND, disbursed to 183 households; the capital entrusted to the Social Policy Bank reached 36.7 billion VND, helping 1,100 households borrow to develop production. The Association also coordinated to open 14 vocational training classes for 320 members, 18 technical training classes for more than 9,600 people, actively mobilized the construction of "Farmer's Warm Homes" and cared for social security.

In his speech, comrade Do Hoang Tuan emphasized: "If we want the Farmers' Association to be truly close to the people and for the people, we must closely follow the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and local practices." He suggested that the Farmers' Association of U Minh commune continue to innovate propaganda work, promote the role of supervision, criticism, and training of cadres who "dare to think and dare to do", promote production linkages, apply high technology and digital transformation in agriculture , contributing to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members.

The Congress unanimously set out 13 main targets for the 2025-2030 term, notably: Admitting over 250 new members, 95% of members having association cards; establishing 15 new association groups and 2 professional branches; supporting the establishment of 3 cooperative groups and 1 agricultural cooperative; increasing the Farmer Support Fund by an average of 10% per year; 70% of members being equipped with digital skills; over 70% of members conducting cashless transactions.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Tran Thanh Nhanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the U Minh Commune Party Committee, praised the achievements, especially in the context of the locality implementing the two-level local government model. He emphasized: "The Commune Farmers' Association needs to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, support farmers in developing production, applying scientific and technological advances, helping farmers become rich legitimately. If farmers are rich, the commune is rich, and if the commune is rich, the province will also develop sustainably."

The Congress announced the decision to recognize 19 comrades to join the Executive Committee of the U Minh Commune Farmers' Association, term I, 2025-2030; 5 comrades to join the Standing Committee of the Association; Comrade Nguyen Tu Phuong was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the U Minh Commune Farmers' Association.
