On August 14, the news that former Miss Universe Russia 2017 Kseniya Alexandrova passed away at the age of 31 shocked and saddened fans.

According to the BAZA TV channel, Kseniya breathed her last in the hospital more than a month after suffering a traumatic brain injury from a traffic accident in the Tver region. The incident happened in July, when the car she was in suddenly crashed into a moose crossing the road, causing the windshield to shatter. Sitting in the passenger seat, Kseniya suffered severe head injuries and was urgently transferred to the Sklifosovsky Emergency Research Institute. Despite doctors' efforts to save her, she died on August 12.

The tragedy struck just as Kseniya was embarking on a new chapter in her life. In March this year, she married Ilya, her partner, whom she met during a psychotherapy course.

In interviews, Kseniya has shared her wish for a wedding that is “simple but full of love, where everyone feels warm and close”. For her: “The important thing is not to be perfect in every detail, but to keep a peaceful soul and enjoy every moment with the person you love”.

Born in 1994 in Moscow, Kseniya graduated from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics with a degree in Finance and Credit in 2016, completed her studies at the Ostankino School of Cinema and Television in 2020, and graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical University with a degree in Psychology in 2022.

In addition to her role as a model and MC, she is also a psychologist and therapist. In the field of beauty, Kseniya won the first runner-up Miss Russia 2017 and represented Russia at Miss Universe that same year.
