Nguyen Tien Nghi - Emulation spirit and business responsibility

In the patriotic emulation movement, many businessmen have become “nuclei” spreading the spirit of innovation, creativity and social responsibility to the community. Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of MK Construction Investment Joint Stock Company Nguyen Tien Nghi is mentioned as a typical example. He is not only the “captain” who helps the enterprise overcome challenges, creating works bearing the mark of local development, but also a businessman with a compassionate heart, devoted to community activities.

Public works

With the will and aspiration of the young generation of entrepreneurs, Nguyen Tien Nghi chose to go to the old Ninh Thuan (now Khanh Hoa province) to start a business. From a small-scale construction company, he gradually brought   MK has become a prestigious brand in the field of infrastructure investment, urban development and real estate business. The most prominent mark is the Phu Ha New Urban Area Project in Phan Rang Ward - the first local project implemented under the project mechanism with a scale of less than 20 hectares, approved by the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan Province (old) in 2021. With strategic vision and strong direction from the leader, MK has applied many creative solutions to ensure quality and shorten progress; most items exceeded the plan by 7 - 12 months. By November 2025, the technical infrastructure system of the entire urban area was completed and accepted, creating a new, spacious, modern, synchronous and livable urban appearance in the southern region of Khanh Hoa province.

In addition, MK always aims to develop projects and urban areas associated with social benefits, taking the quality of works and people's welfare as a measure of value. The MK Central City social housing project with 324 apartments located in the center of Phan Rang urban area, expected to be completed in December 2025, is a clear demonstration of that philosophy. The completed project contributes to solving the need for social housing according to Decision No. 338/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister: Approving the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period 2021 - 2030". "Building social housing is not only an economic task but also the pride and responsibility of the enterprise to the community. We strive to give people a place to live, thereby feeling secure to start a business and contribute", Mr. Nghi shared.

For current MK projects, in addition to developing the urban appearance and contributing to social security, the company also creates jobs for more than 600 local workers, with a stable income of 8 - 10 million VND/month. In addition, MK always fully fulfills its obligations to the state budget; strictly complies with regulations on environmental protection and investment. For many consecutive years, the company has been awarded a certificate of merit by the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province (old) for its outstanding achievements in socio-economic development and social security work.

Spreading the spirit for the community

If in business management, Mr. Nguyen Tien Nghi is known as a brave and decisive person, in social life, he is the embodiment of a compassionate businessman, a pioneer in community movements. For many years, MK has actively accompanied the Provincial "For the Poor" Fund in social security programs, targeting people in difficult circumstances and people in mountainous and remote areas. MK and Mr. Nghi have contributed and called for support in many forms for the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, support livelihoods and volunteer programs.   Giving Tet gifts and scholarships to poor students worth billions of dong. In particular, during the difficult period of the Covid-19 pandemic, MK has donated over 1 billion dong, including 6,000 rapid test kits to the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. Under the leadership of "captain" Nguyen Tien Nghi, each of MK's activities shows empathy and sharing, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and humanity in the community. With those practical actions, he was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister for his outstanding achievements in the movement "For the poor - leaving no one behind" for the period 2021 - 2025.

In addition to his role as a business leader, Mr. Nghi is also trusted as Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Business Association for the 2022-2027 term. In each position, he always demonstrates a high sense of responsibility, closely connects with the business community, actively proposes initiatives to improve the investment environment, and promotes the province's Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI). In recent years, the Ninh Thuan Provincial Business Association (formerly) chaired by him has been awarded a certificate of merit by the Provincial People's Committee for its many achievements in administrative reform and improving the PCI index. For many consecutive years, he has been honored as an outstanding businessman in the patriotic emulation movement. “The success of a business is not only measured by profit but also by the spread of value and the trust of the community. Emulation must combine development with dedication, so that every entrepreneur can contribute to beautifying the homeland and the country. For me, patriotic emulation is not just a slogan but a concrete action, a spirit of “competing to do good business and competing to do good deeds”, Mr. Nghi affirmed.

From a young entrepreneur starting a business in a sunny and windy land to the position of leading a business investing hundreds of billions of dong in public works, Mr. Nguyen Tien Nghi has demonstrated the image of a Vietnamese entrepreneur in the new era: Dynamic, humane, creative and responsible.
