At package 42, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Nhang, Deputy Director of Truong Son 11 Management Board, Truong Son Construction Corporation, said that the construction unit will construct nearly 14km of the highway section passing through An Giang province. Of which, about 4km is in the flood-risk area.
To proactively respond, the contractor organized workers to construct these locations before the flood flooded the fields.

For road locations in flooded areas, contractors proactively construct across the flood and workers are currently installing wicks.
"The construction site receives 2,000m3 of sand per day, focusing on bringing it to key locations and locations at risk of flooding for construction first. The purpose is that when floods flood the fields, the construction will not be affected.
Currently, these positions have basically overcome the flood, workers are working continuously and throughout to speed up progress," said Lieutenant Colonel Nhang.
Bring more workers to the construction site in October
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nhang, the construction progress is currently over 25%, 0.5% higher than planned. To achieve this result, the contractor was very determined.
