Immediately after the flood receded, Lao Cai Provincial Police mobilized all officers and soldiers to the affected areas to deploy support plans, helping people overcome the consequences of the flood and soon stabilize their lives.
With the motto "Where the water recedes, clean up there", on the morning of October 1, hundreds of police officers and soldiers from units and police from wards in the central area urgently joined with people to clean up houses; dredge mud on flooded roads; and clean up the environment.
Immediately after completion, the fire department used special vehicles to water and clean the roads and sidewalks.

One of the top priorities is to support teachers in cleaning up mud at flooded schools so that students can return to class soon. The storm has severely affected many schools, with damaged facilities, fallen trees, and mud-filled schoolyards and classrooms. Police officers and soldiers have coordinated with teachers, youth union members and parents to clean up fallen trees, collect garbage, rearrange tables and chairs, clean classrooms, and support the repair and reinforcement of some damaged items to stabilize teaching and learning.

The urgent and responsible activities of the police force have left a beautiful image in the hearts of the people, demonstrating the spirit of vanguard, serving the people, joining hands with the government and sectors and organizations to overcome difficulties after natural disasters.
