2023 National Champion Nguyen Nhat Long is not afraid of the challenges of FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon

To prepare for the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025, Nguyen Nhat Long was present at FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon on August 16. After practice matches, the 2023 National Golf Champion showed great interest in this challenging links course.

"I quite like this course because of its difficulty and complex challenges," Nguyen Nhat Long shared with Tien Phong newspaper reporter, "As I see, tee shots here are quite difficult, with limited visibility on the tee. At the same time, the wind also changes unpredictably. For example, in the morning the speed and wind direction are one way, but in the afternoon the wind is another way. Or sometimes I feel the wind blocking about 5-10 yards, but in reality it takes two strokes to reach the flag, so it is not easy to calculate."

Regarding the greens of FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon, according to the golfer born in 2003, although there are many lines and levels, the layout is reasonable and the grass is quite smooth, so he does not think there will be any big problems. Nguyen Nhat Long also said that having little time to practice and get used to the course is a challenge that he must overcome.

"Becoming a professional golfer, I have a very tight training and competition schedule, and every tournament is equally important. It is difficult to always be present before each tournament and practice for long days. I have to adapt and push myself to become better," said Nguyen Nhat Long.

Before the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025, Nguyen Nhat Long had a long training trip in Cambodia with his close teacher. Therefore, the golfer who surpassed Nguyen Anh Minh with a score of -4 strokes to win the National Golf Championship 2023 is completely confident entering the 4 days of fierce competition at FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon.
