Today (October 1), Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television (HTV) in collaboration with Golf Pro Joint Stock Company and Long Bien Investment Joint Stock Company announced the HTV Swing Cup 2025 golf tournament. Accordingly, the tournament will take place on December 26 and 27 at Tan Son Nhat golf course.

In its first edition last year, the HTV Swing Cup attracted the participation of more than 200 golfers from 18 clubs, with the championship title belonging to the Quang Nam Golf Club in the South. This year's tournament is expected to gather hundreds of golfers, participating in the competition in a team competition format, both demonstrating individual techniques and promoting tactics and team spirit. Also in this season, the organizing committee decided to change the regulations to improve professional quality. Accordingly, the number of participating teams is not controlled to give opportunities to golfers. If 18 teams pass, they will compete in a qualifying round to select 18 teams for the final round.

Along with the competitions, the organizing committee will launch a charity fundraising program, calling for contributions from the golfer community and partners. Specifically, the organizing committee of HTV Swing Cup has reached an agreement with the international charity Operation Smile to support poor children with cleft lip and palate disabilities to receive free surgery at 16 hospitals nationwide. The organizing committee also hopes that golfers participating in the tournament will also join and spread this good and humane value."
