Quickly extinguish the fire in Tay Ho ward

On the evening of October 2, authorities quickly controlled and extinguished a fire on Quang Khanh Street (Tay Ho Ward, Hanoi).

At around 6:30 p.m. the same day (October 2), a fire broke out at house number 98, Quang Khanh Street. Black smoke rose dozens of meters high, accompanied by a burning smell, causing panic among many residents in the alley.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police ( Hanoi City Police) coordinated with Tay Ho Ward Police and other functional forces to put out the fire. Although the fire spread to the neighbor's house, after just over 30 minutes, the fire was controlled.

It is known that the house with garden is being used as a place to paint statues and an office during the day, and is locked at night. When the fire broke out, the authorities had to break the door to get in and put out the fire.

Initial information shows that the fire covered an area of ​​about 15 square meters in the house and did not cause any casualties. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
