Many opportunities for cooperation in the field of industry and technology between Vietnamese enterprises

At the Direct Trade Event (1:1) between the Korean business delegation of the Korea Intellectual Property Strategy Agency (KISTA) and the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute (KEITI) with Vietnamese professional agencies and importers in Hanoi recently, the delegation of 7 Korean businesses introduced high-quality, rich and diverse traditional products including cosmetics, functional foods and beverages.

In addition, equipment and technology in the medical and environmental fields such as: Unmanned surface vessels for measurement and observation; automatic air measurement/monitoring systems; new technology water disinfection systems have received positive attention from professional agencies as well as Vietnamese enterprises.

Sharing about this trade event, Mr. Jung ChulWan, Business Development Research Expert of the Korea Intellectual Property Strategy Agency (KISTA) expressed his joy at having 4 member enterprises attending and he hoped for trade cooperation and product development of Korea in the Vietnamese market.

Mr. KwangKeun Shin, Senior Expert of Industry and Environmental Technology of the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute (KEITI), said that the agency has 3 participating businesses in the fields of environment, emissions, and health. "We see that Vietnamese importers are very interested. We hope that the two sides can increase exchanges, training, trade/export exchanges, especially products related to the environment, " Mr. KwangKeun Shin shared.

Representing a Korean company - Mr. Brian Shin, CEO of RPG Lab Co., Ltd., Korea, specializing in producing Makgeolli powder, assessed that young consumers in Vietnam are increasingly looking for safe products. Therefore, he hopes to bring his products to the Vietnamese market.

According to the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA Hanoi), at the event, 40 trade deals were successfully held, opening up many new cooperation opportunities in the fields of industry and technology between Korean and Vietnamese enterprises.
