Total rainfall in the past 24 hours (from 7:00 a.m. on October 17 to 7:00 a.m. on October 18) in the midland plains was generally 40 - 120 mm, higher in some places such as Son Tra 166 mm; mountainous areas generally 10 - 40 mm.

From October 18 to the morning of October 20, in communes and wards in the midland plains and southern mountainous areas, there will be moderate rain, scattered heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 100 - 250mm, some places over 350mm.

Communes and wards in the northern mountainous region will have rain, moderate rain, heavy rain, very heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 50 - 150mm, in some places over 200mm; during thunderstorms, be on guard against lightning and strong gusts of wind.
