This is an annual tax collection period, which is important in creating financial resources to serve socio -economic development tasks in the area.

In Mau A commune, Tax Department 7 strives to complete the target of collecting over 685.6 million VND in non-agricultural land use tax in 2025, with 6,229 households.
In Tran Yen commune, strive to collect over 250 million VND, with 948 households.
Non-agricultural land use tax is a compulsory collection for organizations and individuals with land use rights according to the provisions of law.
Reality over the years has shown that although this tax amount is not large compared to the income of each household, it has great significance when it is concentrated to invest in infrastructure projects, contributing to building an increasingly prosperous and sustainable rural appearance.
If in previous years, most people paid taxes directly in cash, this year, the tax department and the People's Committees of the two communes implemented a completely new method - paying taxes via the eTax Mobile application. This is an important step in the administrative reform and digital transformation roadmap of Lao Cai province in general and Mau A and Tran Yen communes in particular.

Through the eTax Mobile application, taxpayers can pay online anytime, anywhere using their smartphones, without having to go directly to the tax office, limiting the use of cash, both quickly and safely. All transactions are recorded transparently, helping people easily look up and control their financial obligations.
However, implementing the new method also poses many difficulties: people need to have smartphones, install applications, remember electronic identification passwords and get used to online operations. This is an obstacle for many elderly people or households that are not familiar with using technology.
