The exhibition features 23 photographs of iconic buildings in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City from the early 20th century to the present. The works are digital copies from the collections of the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts and the Ferenc Hopp Museum of Asian Art.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Pham Thanh Kien emphasized that the exhibition contributes to spreading the message that culture is a bridge of friendship, a foundation for the people of Vietnam and Hungary to understand, respect and bond with each other more.

The exhibition of Dr. Dezso Bozoky's photos in Ho Chi Minh City demonstrates Vietnam's respect for historical memories and cultural heritage; and opens up a new creative space for artists, researchers and art lovers of the two countries to share their emotions, experiences and inspire their creations.

Hungarian Consul General Lehocz Gabor said the photos were taken by Dr. Dezso Bozoky in March 1909, when his ship docked at Saigon port on its way back to his homeland. The exhibition is not just a collection of photos but also a cultural journey connecting Vietnam and Hungary.
