Ninh Hai: Summary of 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee

On June 9, Ninh Hai District Party Committee held a conference to review 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW dated November 4, 2013 of the 11th Central Executive Committee on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training (GD&DT), meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the context of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration.

Implementing Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW, in recent years, Ninh Hai District Party Committee has focused on directing the inclusion of educational development targets and tasks into the local socio-economic development program and plan, and has paid attention to allocating resources for education and training tasks. Thanks to that, the quality of education and training work in the district has been significantly improved. The rate of mobilizing children to attend school within the school age has increased from 59% to 65.74%; the rate of malnourished children has decreased from 3.5% to 0.41%; the rate of students completing primary school and graduating from junior high school every year has reached 100%. Currently, the whole district has 23 national standard kindergartens, primary schools and junior high schools. Education and teaching of Vietnamese language to Raglai and Cham students are organized regularly. The rate of qualified and above-standard staff and teachers has been gradually increased, with the whole sector having 1,112 people, of which 94.41% of teachers have professional qualifications meeting the standards according to the 2019 Education Law, 96.4% have foreign language certificates, and 92.5% have IT certificates.

In the coming time, Ninh Hai District Party Committee has set out specific tasks such as: Continuing to propagate contents related to fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training in the spirit of Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW. Reviewing, planning, and developing the network of schools and classes; increasing investment in facilities to ensure the quality of educational activities, especially teaching quality to attract and retain students. Promoting the implementation of emulation movements associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Strengthening the application of information technology and digital transformation in education; maintaining schools that meet national standards according to the set roadmap and plan.

On this occasion, Ninh Hai District Party Committee awarded certificates of merit to 4 collectives and 4 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW.
