Summary of 10 years of implementing the coordination program on promoting the mass movement to protect national security

On June 9, the Provincial Police Department coordinated with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to organize a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing the Coordination Program No. 09/CTr-BCA-MTTW dated August 1, 2013 between the Ministry of Public Security and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations on promoting the movement of all people to protect national security (ANTQ) in the new situation in the province for the period 2013-2023.

Over the past 10 years of implementing Coordination Program No. 09, the Front, its member organizations and the police at all levels in the province have proactively and actively advised the Party committees, authorities at all levels, sectors and localities to organize and widely deploy the movement and attract the participation of a large number of people from all walks of life. Propaganda and mass mobilization work has been focused on, closely combined with campaigns and emulation movements in the locality. Coordination in crime prevention and control, conflicts, disputes and complaints at the grassroots level, especially in key areas with complex security and order issues, has been promptly resolved.

Provincial Police leaders awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee Chairman to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.

Coordination with sectors, organizations, and prestigious people in religion and ethnicity to propagate and mobilize people to participate in building a movement for the entire people to protect national security from the provincial to grassroots levels has become increasingly effective. The "National Security Day" and the "National Great Unity Day" are solemnly organized by localities, attracting a large number of people to participate. Through that, the strength and great potential of the people are aroused and the creativity of the grassroots in preventing, attacking and suppressing crimes, solving urgent and prominent problems, contributing to ensuring security, order and social safety in residential areas, creating a premise to promote the good implementation of the contents of the Coordination Program No. 09 on promoting the movement for the entire people to protect national security in the coming time.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 8 collectives and 8 individuals; the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded certificates of merit to 7 collectives and 8 individuals and the Director of the Provincial Police awarded certificates of merit to 7 collectives and 7 individuals with outstanding achievements in advising and implementing the Coordination Program No. 09/CTr-BCA-MTTW for the period 2013 - 2023.
