Nong Thuy Hang: "I prepared everything for Miss International Friendship by myself"

Miss Vietnam Ethnic Groups 2022 Nong Thuy Hang will represent Vietnam at the Miss Friendship International 2023 contest taking place in Chengdu (China) in mid-October. Sharing with Dan Viet , the beauty from Ha Giang said that since receiving the invitation from the contest's President, she only had nearly 1 month to prepare to participate in Miss Friendship International.

Miss Nong Thuy Hang said: "Time is tight but I always try to prepare carefully from the smallest things. Because, for me, this is not a walk in the park, but a heavy responsibility when wearing the Vietnamese sash and walking on the stage of Miss International Friendship.

I spent a lot of time learning about the message the contest conveyed, my "opponents", as well as perfecting my performance skills, behaving in English, practicing to tighten my appearance... Because I didn't have a support team, I had to take care of everything myself for this trip abroad. I proactively contacted friends and acquaintances to prepare national costumes, evening gowns as well as everyday clothes to participate in activities throughout the contest."

Before the Miss International Friendship 2023 contest, Nong Thuy Hang denied her "huge" family background.

Referring to rumors about her "huge" family background before leaving for Miss International Friendship 2023, Miss Nong Thuy Hang affirmed to Dan Viet : "My family is not rich, just enough to eat and wear. However, after a few incidents, the family's economy is currently facing many difficulties. That's why I always try to be financially independent early.

What makes me most proud is my father - a soldier in green uniform. Although he was born into a poor family with many children, through his own efforts, he became a border guard and held many important positions in the Military Command, Border Guard of Ha Giang province.

I learned a lot from my father about diligence, hard work, self-awareness, discipline, especially love and aspiration to contribute to my homeland and the Fatherland. That is the luggage for me to "fight" at Miss International Friendship as well as my upcoming artistic journey."
