NTO - Opening of the first session of the 7th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ninh Thuan province, term 2024

On the morning of October 7, the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) in Ninh Thuan province held the opening session of the first session of the 7th Congress of Delegates, term 2024-2029. Attending the congress were 198 delegates representing more than 137,000 members and youths in the whole province.

With the theme "Solidarity - Aspiration - Pioneering - Creativity - Development", the Congress is a great festival of Ninh Thuan youth, with the task of assessing the youth situation, the results of the Association's work and the youth movement for the 2019-2024 term; determining the goals, directions, and tasks of the Association's work and the youth movement for the 2024-2029 term; consulting and electing the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation of Ninh Thuan province, term VII and the delegation to attend the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation , term 2024-2029.

Speaking at the opening of the congress, Mr. Huynh Huu Phuc, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Committee, term VI, said that the 2019-2024 term marked the maturity of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ninh Thuan province in many aspects of the Union's work and youth movement. The rate of youth gathered into the organization is increasing; many meaningful projects and tasks are organized, attracting a large number of young people to participate, creating consensus among the people and in line with the aspirations of the youth. With the spirit of "Wherever needed, there are young people, wherever difficult, there are young people", the province's youth have taken the initiative to take on new and difficult tasks, actively contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels, promoting the role of young people in implementing major policies of the province and movements launched by the Central Youth Union; creating favorable conditions and environments for young people to practice, contribute and mature.

After the opening session, the Congress entered the working contents of the first day, including: Listening to the representative of the 6th term of the Association Committee present the draft report on the implementation results of the Resolution of the Provincial Youth Union Congress for the 2019-2024 term; directions and tasks for the 2024-2029 term and the review report of the 6th term of the Association Committee for the 2019-2024 term. Conducting consultations to select delegates with steadfastness, sufficient qualifications, capacity, enthusiasm, prestige among the youth, representing the will and aspirations of the youth to participate in the Association Committee and the Inspection Committee of the 7th Provincial Youth Union; consulting to select a delegation representing the will and aspirations of the youth of the whole province to attend the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024-2029.

Next, the Congress conducted presentations, discussions on topics and gave comments on the documents of the 7th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation and the documents of the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation. With a high sense of responsibility, the delegates focused on promoting their intelligence, researching and discussing the main contents on the situation of the Union's work and youth movement in the past term, identifying advantages and disadvantages, drawing lessons, building directions and tasks for the Union's work and youth movement for the 2024-2029 term; especially programs, contents and solutions to widely deploy the movement "I love my Fatherland" and the program to build a strong Union, determined to further develop the Union's work and youth movement in Ninh Thuan province.

Tomorrow, October 8, the 7th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of the province continues its second working day with the main contents: Continuing to discuss and agree on the Resolution on the direction and tasks for the 2024-2029 term; introducing the 7th term Committee; conducting commendation and closing work.
