On October 17, the leader of Truong Vinh Ward Police ( Nghe An Province) said that the unit had just invited students involved in the clip of female student abuse that occurred at a vocational college in this province to come to work.
"In addition to inviting the students involved, we also invited their parents to work and will have a direction to handle the matter according to regulations," informed the leader of Truong Vinh Ward Police.
Previously, on the afternoon of October 16, a clip of more than 2 minutes long was circulated on Facebook, recording a violent incident that occurred in a classroom.
In the clip, a male student wearing a black shirt grabs a female student’s hair, pushes her face down on a chair in the classroom, and repeatedly punches her in the head. Many other male students stand around watching, shouting and cheering. Some of the male students call the female student a “vegetable seller”.

In addition, the male student in black also held the female student’s hand tightly, calling his friends to come and film her face directly. The female student was then grabbed by the hair, dragged out into the hallway, choked by the neck, and slammed her head against the wall, despite the victim screaming in pain.
It is worth mentioning that the entire process was cheered on by many students in the class. It is known that the incident occurred at a vocational college located in Truong Vinh ward (Nghe An). This school is under the direct management of the People's Committee of Nghe An province.
Speaking with VietNamNet reporter on the afternoon of October 17, the leader of Vietnam - Germany College said that the 3 students (1 victim, 1 attacker and 1 person filming the clip) were all 10th grade students at the school.
Immediately after the incident, the school worked with these students and their parents. “The students said that due to personal conflicts, they texted each other challenging each other, then the male student beat the female student in the classroom. We have now given all three students a week off school to clarify the incident and stabilize the situation. We have reported the incident in writing to the police and relevant units,” said the school leader.
A representative of the Office of the People's Committee of Nghe An province said that they had requested the school to report specifically and said that the authorities were continuing to investigate and clarify this incident.
