The 1st Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, on the morning of October 10 announced the Politburo's decision to appoint Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam to continue as Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee.

On the morning of October 10, the first Congress of Lam Dong province, term 2025 - 2030, opened. Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh attended and directed the congress.

The Congress announced the Politburo's decision to appoint 94 personnel to participate in the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee for the 1st term, 2025-2030 term; and appointed 26 members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.

According to the decision of the Politburo, Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam continues to be appointed as Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

The Deputy Secretaries of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee this term include: Mr. Ho Van Muoi (Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee), Ms. Pham Thi Phuc (Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee), Mr. Dang Hong Sy, Mr. Bui Thang, and Mr. Luu Van Trung.

Members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee also include leaders of advisory and support agencies for the Provincial Party Committee and key state agencies, including: Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Huynh Ngoc Anh; Chief of the Provincial Party Committee's Office Nguyen Khac Binh; Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Vo Thanh Binh; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee Ton Thien Dong; Director of the Provincial Police Truong Minh Duong; Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Ha Thi Hanh and leaders of a number of departments, branches and sectors who are members of the Standing Committee.

The list of the Standing Committee also recorded representatives of key localities and the internal affairs - defense sector, such as: Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee Nguyen Van Quang; Commander of the Provincial Military Command Dinh Hong Tieng; and a number of grassroots secretaries of the new urban and local party committees after the arrangement.

In some cases, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, and key officials of the Provincial Fatherland Front also participate in the Standing Committee, ensuring representation, connectivity, and coverage of tasks in all fields.

Lam Dong urgently completes planning according to new development space

Speaking at the congress, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh asked Lam Dong to prioritize Party building and rectification and personnel work. He requested screening and replacing weak people; in particular, the province must "evaluate cadres to become the strongest link" to select the right people for the right job, overcoming the situation of avoiding and fearing responsibility.

Immediately after the congress, Lam Dong must organize a conference to review 3 months of operating the 2-level local government model, fully identifying difficulties and obstacles. In which, commune-level activities "must not be interrupted" and must be measured by the satisfaction of people and businesses.

Regarding development, Lam Dong must take advantage of new space, set a target of double-digit economic growth for the 2025 - 2030 period, and urgently complete planning according to the new development space.

At the same time, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh also asked Lam Dong to strengthen the great solidarity bloc, gathering the strength of 49 ethnic groups and localities after the merger to create development momentum.
